Intersecting Mental Health and AOD Concerns: Workforce Training and Supervision Webinar
This webinar showcases the AOD Workforce Training and Supervision Program, delivered by QNADA and funded by Brisbane North PHN, to strengthen the capability of the AOD workforce in the Brisbane North PHN region to respond to co-occurring alcohol and other drug and mental health conditions.
The webinar provides an overview of the project, including the delivery of five evidence informed training workshops and a structured practice supervision and peer supervision program that supported participants to embed learning into day to day practice.
It also features presentations from several of the programs facilitators and supervisors, who introduce themselves, their organisations and areas of expertise, provide a brief overview of the training or supervision they delivered, and discuss how their content in relevant to AOD practice.
Together, these presentations highlight practical approaches to strengthening workforce capability and improving responses to people experiencing co-occurring AOD and mental health concerns.
