This forum aims to provide opportunities to identify and discuss gaps and barriers to culturally capable and effective service provision for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The program will include:

• an epidemiological overview of the current bloodborne virus and sexually transmissible infections environment in North Qld
• a profile of the clinical, policy and service delivery context of sexual health
• case presentations and a facilitated panel discussion with recognised Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health professionals and sexual health experts
• break-out sessions to explore opportunities and priorities affecting young people, men and women in the provision of sexual health care.

The forum is aimed at health professionals providing healthcare service provision to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities in the geographical areas covered by the five Hospital and Health Service regions in North Qld (Mackay, Townsville, Cairns and Hinterland, North West, and Torres and Cape).
