A funding opportunity—whether that be a grant application, tender application or pitch to a funder—should be the summary of a detailed planning and service design process with a clearly articulated model and logic. We are forever advising social purpose organisation to take the time to design their program or service model first before thinking about matching it to funding opportunities.

This workshop provides an opportunity for social purpose organisations to build their knowledge in a simple three step approach to effective funding submissions:

1. Define the issue – is there a genuine need for your program or service?
2. Present the solution – why will your solution work?
3. Describe your strengths – what sets you apart from your competitors?

Get Funded has been developed with practicality in mind, focusing on the key components of the concept development process. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with the facilitator, ask questions along the way and learn from others working in similar areas. We regularly work with funding providers and commissioning organisations, so we have a thorough understanding of what funders are looking for.

We encourage workshop participants to stick around after the session to network over a complementary tea, coffee, beer or wine. Networking with other likeminded people and organisations is a great way share learnings.
