About Lives Lived Well – Logan Family Recovery Unit

At Logan Family Recovery, parents are welcome to come and stay with their young children and participate in a residential treatment program within a quiet, rural setting. Our specialist team includes drug and alcohol and family counsellors, a treatment facilitator, a registered nurse and other allied health professionals.

We will work with you to reduce the harms associated with alcohol and drug use and help support positive change for you and your family.

Programs

The Logan Family Recovery live-in program is delivered over a three-month period, in six-week cycles.

The program will provide:

• Specialist support to help take the stress out of entering and leaving the program
• Alcohol and drug counselling, using the latest research in recovery treatment
• A safe, drug, alcohol and smoking-free environment, with nicotine replacement therapy offered
• Parenting and relationship support
• A focus on health and wellness including support around food and nutrition.

Intake, assessment and referral

Self-referral to this service is welcome along with referrals from family, community services and health professionals. All referrals into the service can be conducted over the phone.

The Pre Treatment Team can assist with answering any questions clients may have throughout the enquiry/intake process.

Logan Family Recovery is situated at a peaceful place surrounded by gum trees on a rural property in Chambers Flat, just 35 minutes south of Brisbane. The property features comfortable self-contacted, private units with breezy open spaces and decks from which to enjoy farmland views. The units provide for a safe, calm and secure environment.
