Lives Lived Well is a not-for-profit organisation passionate about supporting people to live their lives well. They offer evidence-based healthcare services across Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia, helping thousands of people each year with concerns related to alcohol and other drugs, mental health, veterans’ wellbeing, and gambling. All of their services are delivered professionally, and in confidence.
Programs
Alcohol and drug counselling services, including support for young people and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, is provided from their Charters Towers office. The team also provides outreach service to Hughenden and Richmond.
Phone counselling is available to some Queensland areas during normal office hours, Monday to Friday.
Intake, assessment and referral
You don’t need a GP referral. You can self-refer through Lives Lived Well website. If you have limited access to the internet or would prefer to speak to the team to request a referral, please phone the Contact Team on 1300 727 957.
They also accept online provider referrals from other health professionals, health services, and community and government organisations.
