Responsive Systems Summary Paper

QNADA has recently completed Phase 1 of our ‘Responsive Systems’ project, which included a rapid review of relevant inquiries and reports undertaken over the past 10 years in Qld. The purpose of this review was to determine to what extent these inquiries have arrived at consistent recommendations in relation to responding to people who are affected by AOD use; and to what extent recommendations from the reports had been accepted and implemented. Western Queensland Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Development Project

The Western Queensland Primary Health Network (WQPHN) has partnered with the Queensland Network of Alcohol and Other Drug Agencies (QNADA) to work with a number of primary health care services to deliver activities and support to increase the confidence and capacity of primary health care services to work with people experiencing concerns related to their or a loved ones’ alcohol and drug use.

Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on alcohol and other drug service delivery

National Reports & Frameworks

The State and Territory Alcohol and Other Drugs Peaks Network undertook a survey of alcohol and other drug treatment services in all States and Territories between 21 May and 5 June 2020 on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Responses were received from 210 organisations across Australia, including organisations operating in metropolitan, regional, rural and remote areas.
