About Ted Noffs Foundation

Ted Noffs provides counselling and case management in south eastern Queensland for young people aged 12 – 25 years. Clients are offered evidence-based treatments that cater for drug, alcohol and mental health issues. The primary focus of the clinicians of the Queensland Service is to comprehensively assess all clients referred to the service, develop an individual treatment plan and provide brief intervention (6 – 8 sessions) to support clients achieving their goals.

Programs

Street University Queensland: soft-entry engagement for young people aged 12-25 years. Street University provides professionally facilitated creative arts workshops (i.e. music; dance; art) tailored for young people, at no cost. Counselling and case management services are also available on-site.

General Counselling: general drug and alcohol counselling services to young people and their families.

Schools Counselling: drug and alcohol counselling and skills training to secondary students who have concerns with alcohol and other drugs.

Intake, assessment and referral

Self-referrals to the service are welcome as well as referrals from family, community services and health professionals.
