Pine rivers private hospital provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient mental health services. Their commitment to the patients is to provide comprehensive healthcare that recognises their individual physical, social and emotional needs, led by our multidisciplinary team including highly skilled and experienced clinical and allied health specialists. Programs

They provide mental health and alcohol and other drugs services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Their accredited programs are individually tailored and can be offered on an inpatient or day program basis.

Their services are provided by a multi-disciplinary treatment and support team which includes:

Inpatient Programs – Individual and group therapy

Therapy is a broad term which covers lots of different disciplines and modalities. Generally, it is either individual 1:1 therapy with a mental health worker, or a group therapy facilitated by a therapist. Therapy is an intentional activity where you spend time exploring aspects of your life with a trusted other (or others), looking for insights, solutions and shifts in perspective. It can help in many ways, including:

• Identify and change negative patterns and beliefs
• Allow you to feel emotions which may have been held in for a long time
• Provide a safe and confidential space to unburden thoughts and feelings
• Help you feel validated, understood and heard
• Heal attachment trauma through forming positive relationships
• Motivate you to change or improve circumstances

Their General Inpatient Programs provide inpatients with comprehensive therapeutic services aimed at supporting recovery and health through the delivery of sessions that address:

• Psycho-education and recovery skills
• Social and communication skills
• Personal development and life skills
• Healthy lifestyle education and activities
• Creates and recreates therapy
• Community info and life skills

Outpatient Programs
Available to adults diagnosed with mental illness, our specialised Day Programs provide recovery-focused services to educate patients about mental illness, and develop the strengths and skills needed to manage them. These Day Programs are designed to fit into your everyday life, with many of the programs available during the evenings to minimise disruption to your daily activities, and can be suitable at various stages of your care journey including:

• To compliment the treatment you are receiving from your GP, psychologist or psychiatrist
• Following discharge from an inpatient treatment.
• The programs are facilitated by qualified multidisciplinary mental health professions including psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers, nurses, psychiatrists and exercise psychologists.

Their Day Programs assist patients with:

• Information, skills and support to enhance mental health recovery
• The transition period immediately prior to or following an inpatient admission
• Clinical pathways and strategies to support recovery, enhance functioning and facilitate personal growth to minimise admission/readmission and illness relapse
