About Lives Lived Well

Lives Lived Well is a not-for-profit organisation passionate about supporting people to live their lives well. They offer evidence-based healthcare services across Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia, helping thousands of people each year with concerns related to alcohol and other drugs, mental health, veterans’ wellbeing, and gambling. All of their services are delivered professionally, and in confidence.

Programs

At Lives Lived Well Townsville, they offer free alcohol and other drug counselling including for youths, alcohol and other drugs Psychoeducation Groupwork, Breakthrough for Families program, Police Court Diversion and Drug and Alcohol First Aid training.

All services are delivered at Park Haven Medical Centre, First Floor, 5 Bayswater Road, Hyde Park 4812.

They also provide alcohol and other drug counselling outreach to Ingham at Hinchinbrook Health Care, 86 Herbert Street (Tuesday fortnightly).

Phone counselling for alcohol and other drugs is available to some Queensland areas during normal office hours, Monday to Friday.

Intake, assessment and referral

You don’t need a GP referral. You can self-refer through Lives Lived Well website.

If you have limited access to the internet or would prefer to speak to the team to request a referral, please phone the Contact Team on 1300 727 957.

They also accept online provider referrals from other health professionals, health services, and community and government organisations.
