About Lives Lived Well

Lives Lived Well is a not-for-profit organisation passionate about supporting people to live their lives well. They offer evidence-based healthcare services across Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia, helping thousands of people each year with concerns related to alcohol and other drugs, mental health, veterans’ wellbeing, and gambling. All of their services are delivered professionally, and in confidence.

Programs

At Lives Lived Well Townsville, they offer free alcohol and other drug counselling and support services including for youths, alcohol and other drugs Psychoeducation Groupwork, Breakthrough for Families program, Police Court Diversion and Drug and Alcohol First Aid training.

All services are delivered at 86 Thuringowa Drive, Kiwan QLD 4817.

They also provide alcohol and other drug counselling outreach to Ingham at Hinchinbrook Health Care, 86 Herbert Street (Tuesday fortnightly).

Phone counselling for alcohol and other drugs is available to some Queensland areas during normal office hours, Monday to Friday.

Intake, assessment and referral

You don’t need a GP referral. You can self-refer through Lives Lived Well website.

They also accept online provider referrals from other health professionals, health services, and community and government organisations.
