Lives Lived Well is a not-for-profit organisation passionate about supporting people to live their lives well. They offer evidence-based healthcare services across Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia, helping thousands of people each year with concerns related to alcohol and other drugs, mental health, veterans’ wellbeing, and gambling. All of their services are delivered professionally, and in confidence.
Programs
At Rockhampton service hub, they provide free alcohol and other drug counselling and support services, including support for young people aged 12-25 years old and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The services are delivered at unit 1, 155 Alma Street, Rockhampton City 4700.
They also offer residential rehabilitation for alcohol and other drugs at Binbi Yadubay “Healthy Beginnings” in Parkhurst.
Phone counselling for alcohol and other drugs is also available to some Queensland areas during normal office hours, Monday to Friday.
Intake, assessment and referral
You don’t need a GP referral. You can self-refer through Lives Lived Well website. If you have limited access to the internet or would prefer to speak to the team to request a referral, please phone the Contact Team on 1300 727 957.
They also accept online provider referrals from other health professionals, health services, and community and government organisations.
