About Lives Lived Well

Lives Lived Well is a not-for-profit organisation passionate about supporting people to live their lives well. They offer evidence-based healthcare services across Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia, helping thousands of people each year with concerns related to alcohol and other drugs, mental health, veterans’ wellbeing, and gambling. All of their services are delivered professionally, and in confidence.

Programs

At Burleigh on the sunny Gold Coast, Mirikai offers a residential alcohol and drug treatment program for people aged 18 to 35, which is part of a continuous package of care. The live-in program is delivered over six-week cycles, with the flexibility to be extended up to twelve weeks depending on your individual recovery. As part of a package of treatment, you can access six weeks to three months live-in treatment, free before and after service support, transitional accommodation and free community-based counselling and support.

Intake, assessment and referral

You don’t need a GP referral. You can self-refer through Lives Lived Well website. If you have limited access to the internet or would prefer to speak to the team to request a referral, please phone the Contact Team on 1300 727 957.

They also accept online provider referrals from other health professionals, health services, and community and government organisations. Admission times vary. Be assured, you will be supported by the Pre-Treatment Team until you can be admitted. Once your referral is received, your support begins.
