Position Available: Mental Health Clinician
Employment Term: Full Time
Location: Redcliffe, Brisbane QLD
Renumeration: $86,000 – $110,000 per year
At RAYS, our practice is grounded in relational care, trauma-informed practice, social inclusion, and community connection. We’re committed to building lasting therapeutic relationships that empower young people and their communities. This role brings those values to life – combining clinical expertise with deep relationship-building and responsive, trauma-informed care
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will deliver an outreach-based program tailored for young people aged 12-25, working in close partnership with a Functional Recovery Manager to provide integrated clinical and psychosocial support. Together, you will proactively engage and support young people with or at risk of a severe mental illness, who are disengaged through flexible, person-centred care—delivered in homes, schools, parks, cafés, courtrooms, and other community settings, with some work required outside standard business hours. The model prioritises recovery, engagement, and social participation as key to long-term wellbeing.
Flexibility is essential, with services often delivered in community settings such as homes, schools, cafes, parks, or courtrooms. You’ll participate actively in multidisciplinary team case reviews, coordinate care effectively, and occasionally facilitate therapeutic group sessions.

Based at the Redcliffe Area Youth Space, outreach occurs across the Moreton Bay region.
