About Bridges

Bridges  offer a range of interventions from psychological services, care coordination for people with serious mental illness and complex needs, through to counselling for youth, adults, families and carers. They offer training and mental health promotion services to increase awareness ; understanding of mental illness, drugs and alcohol use and reduce stigma and discrimination. Specifically, Bridges   provides a range of services for people 12 years of age and over who wish to address their substance use goals.

Programs

At Bridges, we can help you identify some of the underlying factors that can contribute to problematic use of alcohol and other drugs.
Bridges DARTS team uses an holistic approach to help you explore areas of your life that contribute to your substance use (such as housing, employment and relationships).

Drug and Alcohol Treatment
We offer a comprehensive alcohol and other drugs treatment services for people who want to deal with problematic substance use.

Day Rehabilitation Program
The Bridges 180° program provides people with an opportunity to improve their health and wellbeing through an intensive 6 – 8-week specialist program.

Breakthrough For Families
Bridges provides information and education for families on how to help themselves and their loved ones. From these, family members or loved ones may opt-in for up to three confidential sessions.

Intake, assessment and referral

Open referral, anyone can make an appointment. Initial assessment via phone or in person, it is client’s choice.

Outreach intake is available.

Additional information

The 1800 263 274 hotline puts callers on the phone with AOD clinicians to respond to queries and book an initial appointment.
Bridges is culturally sensitive and has cultural support workers available.
