Kambu Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation for Health is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service that operates in Ipswich and the West Moreton region.
Kambu Health is a bulk-billing practice and welcomes all patients.
Kambu Health focus on providing culturally appropriate health strategies particularly those which focus on prevention and provide services for all stages of life for both individuals and families.
Allied Health Practitioners and Specialists attend our Ipswich Clinic regularly and work with you as part of your health care team to improve chronic illness, recovery and quality of life. These services include, but are not limited to physiotherapy, podiatry, dietetics, psychology, psychiatry, occupational therapy, and optometry.
Programs
Social Health Programs: Our Social Health team delivers culturally safe, trauma-informed support that addresses the social and emotional wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities.
Our core programs include:
· Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Counselling – supporting individuals and families affected by substance use
· Mental Health Support, including suicide prevention and early intervention
· Individual and Group Therapy – safe spaces for healing, connection, and peer support
Our Social Health programs work alongside allied health and specialist services to provide holistic, wraparound care that empowers clients on their healing journey and strengthens community resilience.

Intake, assessment and referral
Anyone is open to make an appointment. Initial referral and intake are completed over the phone or patients can complete and submit a Patient Registration Form. The clinic is the first point of contact for clients when they come to the service for assessment and referral to other relevant services if required.
