DESCRIPTION:Alcohol and other drugs services across Australia are required to contribute to the Alcohol and other Drugs Treatment Services National Minimum Data Set (AODTS NMDS). The aim of this AODTS NMDS workshop is to develop a nationally consistent approach to alcohol and other drug service data collection. \nThe objectives are to: \n\nincrease participant awareness of the data elements in the AODTS NMDS\nincrease participant understanding of common errors in NMDS data collection\nincrease service capacity to accurately record and report AODTS NMDS data\nimprove participant awareness of privacy and ethics in client data collection and storage\nincrease participant awareness of the resources available to support data collection and reporting\nprovide a forum to explore themes particular to each jurisdiction and make links with data custodians.\n\nWe encourage you to register as soon as possible\, places are limited. \n*Zoom link will be sent out 4 days before the event to your registration e-mail.

SUMMARY:National Comorbidity Guidelines Train-the-Trainer Day
DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in being trained to deliver mental health training in your workplace? \nThe University of Sydney’s Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use have limited places remaining for our National Comorbidity Guidelines Train-the-Trainer Workshops.  \nThe training is based on the Australian Government Department of Health-funded National Comorbidity Guidelines (Guidelines on the management of co-occurring alcohol and other drug and mental health conditions in alcohol and other drug treatment settings)\, and has been developed by researchers from the University of Sydney Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use\, in collaboration with 360Edge. \nParticipants will become registered trainers through the Matilda Centre\, and subject to signing licensing agreements\, able to deliver the National Comorbidity Guidelines Face-to-Face Training Program. \nKey details \n·       Where: Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic\, train-the-trainer workshops are currently only available online \n·       When: Three dates are available (all times are AEST): \no   8:30am-4:30pm Wednesday 28th April (limited places remaining) \no   8:30am-4:30pm Thursday 20th May (limited places remaining) \no   8:30am-4:30pm Thursday 8th July (limited places remaining) \n·       Cost: Free \n·       Who should attend: Training facilitators are required to have successfully completed tertiary training in a relevant field; have a comprehensive knowledge of comorbidity and/or experience working with people experiencing co-occurring mental and substance use disorders; be skilled in substance use and mental health interventions; possess sound training skills\, and have the capacity to deliver workplace training. \n·       Skills gained: Trainers will become registered trainers through the Matilda Centre\, and subject to signing licensing agreements\, licensed to deliver the National Comorbidity Guidelines Face-to-Face Training Program. Participants will receive a certificate of completion\, which depending on their registration provider\, may be used toward continuing professional development points (CPD). \nRegistrations of interest close 5pm Monday 19th April for the April workshop\, and 5pm Friday 7th May for the May and July workshops. \n  \nREGISTER YOUR INTEREST FOR TRAIN-THE-TRAINER:\nhttps://comorbidityguidelines.org.au/face-to-face-training-program/train-the-trainer-workshops
